All of our caregivers undergo an intense and rigorous screening process. With years of experience in recruiting & staffing our management team has developed 7-step screening process which help us to select only the best for our clients and retain quality.
Our 7-step Hiring Process
- Pre-qualification : We only hire Licensed caregivers with minimum one year of home care experience.
- Application : All candidates are required to complete our detailed application. This allows us to review their credentials, verify their licenses.
- References & Background Checks : All candidates are screened for the background checks by the private investigation firm and also they required to provide 2 professional and 2 personal references. They are hired only after satisfactory verification of background & references.
- Competency Test : Candidate must pass our competency written exam created exclusively for the caregivers and which help us examine their caregiving, intellectual and language skills.
- Behaviour based interview scenarios : We present candidates with a variety of real-life scenarios and discuss how they will handle the situations. These interview scenarios help us identify caregivers who is genuinely passionate for elder care and wants to make a difference by their experience & skills.
- Skills Demonstration Exam : Our DON & RN personally examine the professional skills of the selected candidates. The candidates are asked to demonstrate their professional skills in senior care: ambulation, body mechanics, physical care and more. This step helps us to reaffirm issues or characteristics revealed in earlier steps of screening process.
- Orientation : Caregivers who successfully pass the interview, skill test and background checks are welcomed to Zenith Home Care Agency with a complete orientation. At this point we are confident in our caregiver's skills and abilities.
